Ok so im finally sitting my ass down and writing my feelings on the episode wednesday. This is real productive considering that its freakin SUNDAY NIGHT now. LOL o well
Let me start by saying that i REALLY REALLY enjoyed this episode. It just had a lot of layers and i really enjoyed watching the characterization. O yeah and i also loved that little fact that it was a great episode for Nathan.
Keith
What can i say..this man cracked me up this episode. His one liners were classic
"I love sleepin in Jail cells" "ive seen the video, it was stimulating" "OMG WAS DAN SHOT?! o no no wait. it was a fire. thats right." "maybe hes still mad that i slept with his wife" "i was just so thirsty" "theres no need to bring mom into this danny" "can this visit take the place of xmas?" pahahaha. Keithy kills me. O and that officer dude had a slight resemblence to Dr. Phil. lol
Danny boy
Ok so Dan is actually one of my favorite characters. Hes so intruiging. I go from like wanting him to die, to actually almost feeling sympathy for him. (props to mark) whatever the case is..Dan never fails to deliver some of the shows whittiest lines.
Karen- "dont waste your breath on him" Dan- "you wasted more than that" "Dont want to be late for the keith Show" "you both could do better"
Now when Dan said to Haley "your next" i couldnt help but see a little forshadowing there. I can see Nathan and Haley getting really good again and then Dan trying to screw with them. Hopefully Nate will beat his ass and be the protective little hott hubby that he is.
The fact that he keeps bringing Peyton up to Haley is puzzling to me. I really hope that it doesnt start to affect Haley and start to feel insecure about that. SURELY it wont though...i mean nathan is her HUSBAND. you never know though, this is Tv. O yeah and whats with the end with Dan looking in on karen and luke? is he just a little jelous maybe of the life he left behind..should be interesting to see where that goes.

Tim
Ok let me just put this out there. Tim as a nurse. DAMN FUNNY! man i love tim. one of my favorite tim lines ever "lay us or trade us" PAHAHA. never the less i found tim as a nurse to be too damn funny not to comment on.
Peyton
I cant help but feel that this whole Peyton storyline is winding down. Which makes me really sad b/c Peyton is finally letting her in and of course ellies gonna leave. not by choice obviously, but never the less she will be gone. In peytons life it seems the "people always leave" line does remain true. O yeah and damn you

Seriously though, i wonder if she was talking about Jake. Typically when she is talking about Jake she isnt shy at all to mention his name. Hmmm interesting stuff.
Brooke
Ok so i love her outfit with the sweater and white shirt under it. Freakin adorable. I WANT IT. O yeah, and sophie soph needs to loose those bangs. I like her better without them. Brooke did have an awesome line this epi. "The only way i would be surprised is if you were actually wearing underwear" WOW damn funny
Mouth
Wow. so i adore Lee. Plus i think the fact that he is friends with JAMES LAFFERTY is the damn best thing ever. Anyways this is like the 5th time we've seen him dancing and everytime im like DAMMMNN that boy can dance. a hell of a lot better than James and Chad...well we all know that aint sayin much. LOL. seriously though..lee got some mad moves yo.
I really didnt like how Brooke was kind of mean and degrating to mouth this eppie. I almost felt as if mouth forgave brooke to easily. o well, besides The mouth and Rachel relationship should be an interesting one to say the least.
LUKEY
Luke is definatly one of the most consistant characters on the show. They are freakin building this HCM thing up. when it finally comes out...its gonna be a huge deal, and its gonna be EXPLOSIVE. I can see it affecting the bros. relationship and i actually hope so. I want some more brother stuff i tell you. When Chad says to Karen "yanno, make sure his intentions are honorable" he delivers that line amazing. Chad may be a lot of things, but no one can deny him the fact that he is an amazing actor.
Whitey
So i pretty much adore Whitey. Per usual. I love how he is one of the only ones who really sees the character growth in Nathan. He is such a father figure to Nathan and i love that. The face whitey gets when he sees nate give luke the tip..its like a face of understanding and even expectance. I love whitey's faith in Nathan! He also had some great lines this eppie.
"Wow the mayors talking to me, what an honor" "...if this is about your brother ferris bueler"
Haley James Scott
fIRST of all, i really liked Joie's hair this eppie. But in the last scene with Nate it looked a little shorter. Maybe its just cause it was kinda curled a little. either way..i liked it. When Haley said "i dont feel like im im picking a college so much as im picking a future" i was like OK GET THIS THROUGH YOUR MIND. NATHAN IS YOUR FUTURE. Loved how Lucas said "didnt you pick a future when you married nathan?" like Tiff said, i love how Lucas always seems to put their marriage into perspective for the both of them. I did however, love her line "all those different faces. i remember all those different people, but none of them are nathan" thats right hunny buns...so GO TO DUKE WITH YOUR HUBBY!
NATHAN SCOTT
so incase it isnt apparent. im basically in love with Nathan. this was a really good episode for him. It showed a tremendous amount of character growth. The fact that he was the first one that said sorry to haley TWICE says so much in itself. I feel as if he is being the mature one in this episode and i love it. Really thinking about things, and actually addressing them. When Whitey tells nathan hes out of the game..nathan rebutles but then just sits down. Season one nate, or even season 2 nate for that matter would have never done that. He would have thrown a fit and walked out. Nathan has matured and grown so much that not only did he sit down, he genuinly wanted them to win without him, so much so that HE HELPED THEM WIN! I mean he was even able to make a joke about it "what? you dont think he was impressed with my bench sitting skills?" Also when he flat out tells whitey that benching him was the right thing to do..shows such amazing growth! Im just appreciative that Whitey sees this.
As far as exploring the Nathan/Dan relationship, i think this episode was key. I think nate is starting to realize some things, and thats gonna be hard for him, i just hope his wife is there for him. When the counselor asks him "and who came up with this plan?" and nate has to respond with "my dad.." i think that started to make him think, all hes ever worked for, all hes ever wanted hasnt even been his dream...thats gotta be hard for Nate. Its like when will dan stop screwin nathan's life? prob. never. Also when the counselor asks if dan went to Duke, nate responds immediatly with "NO, im better than him" i loved this line. James delivered it perfectly and it just says so much. Also his line "This has nothing to do with you. If he's here its because of me, you cant own this one" says a lot too. Its as if nathan has never felt like hes good at anything. Hes made it clear that all he has is basketball, and if he feels that that has a lot to do with Dan then no wonder nathan is how he is. HIm and dan's little competition. I only hope that Nathan wins in the end, and i think we all know he will. duh. its nathan! lol O and in that entire last nathan and haley scene..JAMES WAS ON HIS A GAME! seriously all his lines were delivered PERFECTLY. plus if you just look at his facial expressions, they ARE PERFECT. they say so much, which just displays james' amazing talent.
On a more shallow note JAMES LOOKED HOTT AS HELL..PER USUAL. "the turnaround" as i have officially named it, i think i have watched about a million times. Its when Haley gets his attention in the hall, he does this little turnaround thingy and its just so amazingly hott and cute. Also in that scene james' hands go in the pockets...thats soooo james lafferty right there. O AND James and that tie, blue shirt and khakis is liek THE HOTTEST THING EVER. that outfit was made for him i tell you. His legs look a mile long in them, and his it compliments his hiney quite well. Its funny how him and chad BOTH look so hott in them, but in completly different ways. Chad is like grungy and just yanno chad. James is like strong, masculine, protective in it. *dies* so hott! O yes, and the little james and basketball we saw when he was warming up was HOTT AS HELL. lordy i swear but a basketball in Lafferty's hand and the hottness increases so much. LOL..and i thought i wasnt even possible. O and another thing, when Nathan walks over to that scout after he shakes his hand james like sniffles his nose. This is not the first time i have noticed this, and i love it. LOVE the aspects of nathan that are so clearly james lafferty shining through.
O yes and my favorite line of the eppie: "Good News" "WHAT, I WAS ADOPTED?" I ADORE nathan as a smartass!
yay! for nathan and haley
I loved this episode for nathan and haley. they got some really great scenes. I didnt quite understand what they were talking about when haley said "nathan i said some things the other night..." and nathan responds " i said some things too" were they still referring to the pregnancy thing? o well, i LOVED how nathan was the first one to say "im sorry" GOSH. that boy grows up a little everyday. LOVE IT. I also loved how nate said "add this to the list of things we should have talked about" and haley responds "we can talk about it now" damn straight you can. AInt nothing like that gonna break them up.
I L O V E D their last scene. Thats all props to James and Joie to turn a simple scene like that into something SO WONDERFUl. I ADORED how the VERY first thing nathan says to haley is "are you okay?" hes such a good little husband i tell you. Hes always more worried about her than him. (exception for right when she came back, but lets get real, she deserved it) I mean he flat out asks her "what do you want me to say?" loved that. OK and BEST PART EVER.. "of course i love you" ALL PROPS TO MR. LAFFERTY ON THAT ONE. could he have delivered that any more perfect? no i dont think he could have. James sells nathan i tell you. O yes and in this scene once again nathan says sry first. When he brings up school it shows that nathan is interesting and thinking about their relationship. HE is making sure that it works out and they dont repeat their mistakes. Gotta love him for that. O yes and the way james says "Im sry" is amazing. You just want to hug him i swear.
I loved the last scenes for nathan and haley. "i dont think you realize how much you love something until you have to give it up" CLEARLY referring to nathan. Maybe you shouldnt have given him up dumbass. (sry..still get a little angry about that lol) but none the less good to see that she misses nate and their relationship. Loved nate's "Games the only thing that mattered to me...before haley came along" O and Nathan telling whitey "i was hoping maybe you could call somebody from stanford" O MY WORD. how can you not just love nathan? always willing to make the sacrifices for him and haley. This reminds me of when he gave up high flyers for her. I really do hope though, that nathan and haley end up at Duke. I want that for nathan, and i want that for them.

Ok so needless to say, im a little excited! There are no words really. Its gonna be so freakin hott. wow i cant wait. O and from what we saw..it looks as if james has grabby hands. o and what are those papers i wonder? And can we see nathan wearing his ring? all i know is next week in gonna be fucking hott. its gonna be special...i can just feel it. I think its gonna be one of my fav. eppies ever.
Random
I loved the music during the basketball game. Both halfs had 2 differnet songs and i loved them both. Anyone know what they are?
Also, notice in the scene with keith and dan its raining. is this oth being practical and having continuity? no it cant be....I THINK IT IS. lol
Ok ive rambled on long enough. in a nutshell. Nathan Scott is the best boy ever...Dans halarious...this shows cast is HOTT AS HELL...and nate and hales are freakin love!
